وَإِذَا And when wa-idhā it is said qīla to them lahum (Do) not lā spread corruption tuf'sidū in fī the earth l-arḍi they say qālū Only innamā we naḥnu (are) reformers muṣ'liḥūna
Cuando se les dice: ¡No sembréis la corrupción en la Tierra! Responden: “¡Pero si nosotros somos los que hacemos el bien!”
أَلَآ Beware alā indeed they innahum themselves humu (are) the ones who spread corruption l-muf'sidūna [and] but walākin not lā they realize (it) yashʿurūna
¿Acaso no son ellos los corruptores? [Sí,] pero no se dan cuenta.
