ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika (was) Isa ʿīsā (the) son ub'nu (of) Maryam maryama a statement qawla (of) truth l-ḥaqi that which alladhī about it fīhi they dispute yamtarūna
Ese es Jesús, hijo de María, la verdad sobre la que discuten.
مَا Not mā (it) is kāna for Allah lillahi that an He should take yattakhidha any son min any son waladin Glory be to Him sub'ḥānahu When idhā He decrees qaḍā a matter amran then only fa-innamā He says yaqūlu to it lahu Be kun and it is fayakūnu
No es propio de Dios tener un hijo. ¡Glorificado sea! Cuando decide algo, dice: “¡Sé!”, y es.
وَإِنَّ And indeed wa-inna Allah l-laha (is) my Lord rabbī and your Lord warabbukum so worship Him fa-uʿ'budūhu This hādhā (is) a path ṣirāṭun straight mus'taqīmun
[Dijo Jesús:] “Dios es mi Señor y el vuestro, ¡adoradle! Ese es el sendero recto”.
فَٱخْتَلَفَ But differed fa-ikh'talafa the sects l-aḥzābu from among them min from among them baynihim so woe fawaylun to those who lilladhīna disbelieve kafarū from min (the) witnessing mashhadi (of) a Day yawmin great ʿaẓīmin
Pero discreparon las sectas sobre él. ¡Cuán desdichados serán ese día los que negaron la verdad cuando comparezcan [ante Dios] en un día terrible!
