وَإِذَا And when wa-idhā it is said qīla to them lahum What mādhā has your Lord sent down anzala has your Lord sent down rabbukum They say qālū Tales asāṭīru (of) the ancient l-awalīna

لِيَحْمِلُوٓا۟ That they may bear liyaḥmilū their own burdens awzārahum (in) full kāmilatan on (the) Day yawma (of) the Resurrection l-qiyāmati and of wamin the burdens awzāri (of) those whom alladhīna they misled [them] yuḍillūnahum without bighayri knowledge ʿil'min Unquestionably alā evil sāa (is) what mā they will bear yazirūna
Éstos cargarán con sus propios pecados el Día de la Resurrección, y con parte de los pecados de aquellos a quienes extraviaron y que les siguieron por ignorancia. ¡Qué pésima es la carga que llevarán!
