وَإِذْ And when wa-idh said qāla Musa mūsā to his people liqawmihi Remember udh'kurū (the) Favor of Allah niʿ'mata (the) Favor of Allah l-lahi upon you ʿalaykum when idh He saved you anjākum from min (the) people āli (of) Firaun fir'ʿawna they were afflicting you yasūmūnakum (with) evil sūa torment l-ʿadhābi and were slaughtering wayudhabbiḥūna your sons abnāakum and letting live wayastaḥyūna your women nisāakum And in wafī that dhālikum (was) a trial balāon from min your Lord rabbikum great ʿaẓīmun
Moisés le dijo a su pueblo: “Recordad las bendiciones de Dios para con vosotros cuando os salvó de las huestes del Faraón, quienes os sometían a castigos crueles, degollaban a vuestros hijos varones y dejaban con vida a vuestras hijas. Eso era una dura prueba de vuestro Señor para vosotros”.
