فَلَعَلَّكَ Then possibly you falaʿallaka (may) give up tārikun a part baʿḍa (of) what mā is revealed yūḥā to you ilayka and straitened waḍāiqun by it bihi your breast ṣadruka because an they say yaqūlū Why not lawlā is sent down unzila for him ʿalayhi a treasure kanzun or aw has come jāa with him maʿahu an Angel malakun Only innamā you anta (are) a warner nadhīrun And Allah wal-lahu (is) on ʿalā every kulli thing shayin a Guardian wakīlun
[Por misericordia] tú podrías dejar de transmitirles algo de lo que te fue revelado, porque tu corazón se acongoja cuando dicen: “¿Por qué no se le ha concedido un tesoro o le acompaña un ángel [para corroborar que es Profeta]?” Pero a ti solo te corresponde transmitir el Mensaje y amonestarles; Dios es el protector de todas las cosas.

O cuando dicen: “Él lo inventó”. Diles: “[Si es verdad que un ser humano puede escribir algo tan maravilloso] escribid vosotros diez suras inventadas como ésta y presentadlas, y convocad a quienes podáis [para que os auxilien] en vez de Dios, si es que decís la verdad”.

Pero si no os responden [el desafío], sabed que [el Corán] ha sido revelado con el conocimiento de Dios, porque no hay otra divinidad salvo Él. ¿Acaso no vais a someteros a Él [haciéndoos musulmanes]?
