إِنَّ Indeed inna in fī that dhālika (is) surely a Sign laāyatan for (those) who liman fear khāfa (the) punishment ʿadhāba (of) the Hereafter l-ākhirati That dhālika (is) a Day yawmun (will) be gathered majmūʿun on it lahu the mankind l-nāsu and that wadhālika (is) a Day yawmun witnessed mashhūdun
en esto hay un motivo de reflexión para quien teme el castigo de la otra vida. El Día del Juicio serán congregadas las personas, ese día será atestiguado por todos.
وَمَا And not wamā We delay it nu-akhiruhu except illā for a term li-ajalin limited maʿdūdin
No lo retrasaré sino hasta su plazo prefijado,
يَوْمَ (The) Day yawma (it) comes yati not lā will speak takallamu a soul nafsun except illā by His leave bi-idh'nihi Then among them famin'hum (will be the) wretched shaqiyyun and (the) glad wasaʿīdun
pero cuando llegue, nadie podrá hablar, excepto quien tenga el permiso de Dios. Entre los congregados estarán los desdichados y los bienaventurados.
